1. Introduction
Welcome to Hegmof Logistics! We provide a digital platform for coordinating package delivery services. These Terms govern your access and use of our mobile application and related services. Please read them carefully.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using the Hegmof app, you confirm your acceptance of these Terms and agree to be bound by them. If you do not accept these Terms, you must not use the app or any of our services.
3. Description of Services
We provide a marketplace that connects users with independent third-party logistics providers for the delivery of packages. While we facilitate these services, we are not directly involved in the delivery or handling of the packages.
4. User Obligations
- Maintain the confidentiality of your account information and accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.
- Ensure all information you provide on the app is accurate, complete, and updated regularly.
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations while using the app and our services.
5. Prohibited Conduct
The following items are strictly prohibited from being sent via our service:
- Illegal substances or items
- Explosive or flammable materials
- Weapons of any kind
- Live animals or illegal wildlife products
6. Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses resulting from:
- The use or the inability to use our service;
- Unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions or data;
- Statements or conduct of any third party on the service;
- Any other matter relating to the service.
7. Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Hegmof Logistics, its affiliates, and their employees, contractors, agents, officers, and directors, from any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt, and expenses arising from your use of and access to the app, your violation of any term of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party right, including without limitation any copyright, privacy, or property right.
8. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law. You agree that any action at law or in equity arising out of or relating to these Terms or the services will be filed only in the state and federal courts located in Nigeria and you hereby consent and submit to the personal jurisdiction of such courts for the purposes of litigating any such action.
